People who complain about crouching are those that hate seeing a good game being over simplified to cater to main stream gamers. Crouching adds way more options to a fire fight, and game play in general. If they want to camp let them. They won’t last very long.

my point is crouching is something not needed in AVP at all. If you feel the NEED to crouch you most likely suck at the game & will probably stop playing b/c there is no camping. You can camp without crouching. Either way Alien & Predator can see you with little effort so no point in sitting in one place unless you want to die or are with a squad of marines. crouching adds nothing but an easy kill for me. Sit still for more than 2 seconds & I’ll kill u with predator without u ever seeing me.

Just because I would like the option to crouch doesn’t mean I enjoy camping, nor does it mean I suck at the game… And AVP is full of camping from all species. Your logic is full of holes. It takes nothing away from the game, and adds another option to make use of. Nothing wrong with that.

yes crouching helps so much i forgot. I love to crouch in a corner like a coward so predator can shoot me in the face from afar while i can’t seem him b/c he is cloaked. There is no use for crouching that is why it isn’t in the game. It would serve no purpose you can move to the left & right faster than you could crouch so no need for it to dodge attacks. You’re probably a little MW2 kiddie who needs to crouch if not you’re still an idiot b/c it’s not in game & no need to be.

Crouching should be available it’s what you expect from most FPS games, and it really have no downside so why even bother arguing about it? Will your AVP experience get ruined if they allow crouching? And wtf is with the comparison of MW2? If you just take a look you will find that more than 3/4 of the FPS games have the crouch option.

Players will camp regardless of crouch, so that point is moot. Humans are the slowest species already, so it really wouldn’t matter. If they have to move fast, they can uncrouch and sprint. Again, nothing there. It would not be detrimental to the game at all, and would only help the game. If you don’t like crouching, then you wouldn’t have to crouch, simple as that.

Crouching is in almost ever FPS, not just MW2. And no, I don’t play MW2. From your reasoning however, I bet you do.

Your saying crouching adds another level not rly for this game why would a predator or alien ever ever need to crouch only one could possibly be a marine which would not be a great tactic as id suggested firing and moving rather then crouching about against an alien or pred

I agree. I won’t got as far as to say it sucked, but I was really disappointed. I’m hoping for a huge improvement in the real game. The crouch thing does bother me since you may want to have your team of marines set up a firing line against onrushing aliens.

As far as the demo, it would have been game of the year in 1999 but is pretty much doggie poop now.
