Drummers are learning more and more as time goes on, with more techniques to learn and more great drummers to learn them from.
so a drummer today could be equal to Buddy in ability but Buddy is considered better cos he learnd evrything with much less resources… if that makes sense

What I meant was B was playing the whole clip; certainly not alone. B was onstage as “Traps the Drum Wonder” at 6 yrs old. His brain was liturally wired for drums. I’m 47, studied with Gene Stuart as well as Joe Morello. There will never be another B, he was/is the greatest drummer ever. The whole thing about him being hard on his bandmates is pathetic. So what, he used the “F” word alot. If he fired you, you deserved it. He paid the bills, booked the gigs and HIS name was on the line.

Come on guys it’s for kids, all it needed to do was seem like Animal and Buddy Rich were playing together. It did, so the show was a success. My only point was that buddy rich played the whole thing, all of it.
